Education Minister Isakov: Aviation Institute can serve as example of digitalization

Bishkek, Mar.10, 2020. /Kabar/. Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanybek Isakov got acquainted with the activity of the Aviation Institute, which is important for the whole Central Asia, the press service of the ministry reported.

The minister familiarized with the work in the field of digitalization of the educational process and highly appreciated the leadership of the Institute.

Isakov said the Aviation Institute can serve as an example for other higher education institutions, employees should be awarded certificates of honor for their work.

A Unified Window system operates at Kyrgyzstan’s Aviation Institute.

Students can obtain various certificates online on the institution's website. 1.5 thousand textbooks are included in the electronic library of the Institute. The automatic information system controls the educational process, the open portal contains curricula for 600 disciplines.

In addition, special simulation air traffic control equipment with the necessary software (for pilots and dispatchers) was purchased. Minister Kanybek Isakov visited the educational institution in order to optimize electronic document flow.

Kyrgyzstan’s Aviation Institute named after Abdrayimov is a modern, strategically important higher aviation education institution, which also provides training of specialists with secondary education.
