Bishkek, Jan.28, 2020. /Kabar/. Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanybek Isakov met with Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) Ali Muslu and project specialist of the Agency Sanzhar Altymyshev.
According to the press service of the Education Ministry, the sides discussed strengthening of cooperation and work plans for 2020.
Isakov suggested to organize exchange programs between teachers of the two countries, as well as strengthening the technical base of vocational education organizations.
TIKA representatives expressed readiness to cooperate on the proposals voiced, they also offered to help plant greenery in the school grounds, including fruit trees.
In addition, the possibility of the Agency to assist schools in need of major repairs was discussed.
The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency is a government department of the Prime Ministry of Turkey. TİKA is responsible for organization of the bulk of Turkey's official development assistance to developing countries, with a particular focus on Turkic countries and communities.
