Kyrgyz education minister, Venezuelan ambassador discuss co-op issues in education

Bishkek, Dec. 20, 2024 . / Kabar / . Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva met with Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Rosalba Lo Bue Antico.

The press service of the Education Ministry reported that during the meeting in Bishkek, the sides discussed a wide range of issues related to the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the field of education and science.

The minister and the ambassador expressed mutual interest in the development and signing of a framework memorandum on cooperation in higher education, which will be the basis for further initiatives.

They also also discussed the process of mutual recognition of diplomas and academic qualifications, which will be an important step to strengthen educational ties between the countries.

"The sides noted the potential for interaction in educational initiatives within the BRICS format, including participation in joint projects and educational forums," the report said.

Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva emphasized the importance of international cooperation in education and science as a basis for the development of sustainable relations between the countries.

In turn, Ambassador Rosalba Lo Bue Antico expressed confidence that this dialog will be the beginning of long-term and fruitful cooperation.

"At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to start working on the text of a memorandum of cooperation, which is planned to be signed in the near future," the ministry reported.
