Kyrgyz Embassy in Russia takes control over accident injured 8 Kyrgyz citizens

Bishkek, Jan.17, 2020. /Kabar/. The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia has taken control over car accident that occurred on Orenburg-Samara highway, where eight Kyrgyz citizens were injured, the press service of the Kyrgyz MFA said Thursday.

Traffic accident occurred on Jan.14, 2020 in the Russia’s Orenburg Oblast at the 181st kilometer of the M5-Ural federal highway (Samara-Orenburg).

Thus, according to the Embassy’s press service, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter went to the lane intended for oncoming traffic, and collided with a Honda Stepwgn with 8 Kyrgyz citizens.

"As a result of the accident, all citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic were hospitalized in Buzuluk District Hospital. There are no deaths among Kyrgyzstanis. The matter is under the control of the Embassy. Rapid response on the ground is conducted by Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in Orenburg,” the report says.
