Tashkent, Nov. 19, 2020. /Kabar/. Alisher Navoi National Library hosted a ceremony of handing over books provided by the Kyrgyz side for the Hall of Knowledge of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Kabar Agency has learnt from the press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Tashkent.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Kyrgyz Embassy, SCO diplomatic missions, the SCO Center for Public Diplomacy in Uzbekistan, the Alisher Navoi National Library, students and Uzbek media.
During the event, the Kyrgyz Embassy noted the transferred books are the golden fund of Kyrgyz literature, will help to get acquainted closer with the culture of Kyrgyzstan and enrich knowledge about the country. The hope was also expressed that the books would be interesting for the visitors of the Hall.
In addition, gratitude was expressed to the SCO Center of Public Diplomacy in Uzbekistan for close cooperation in strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation of SCO countries.
