Bishkek, Dec. 9, 2024. / Kabar /. On December 8, 2024 the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in India along with the Embassies of foreign states participated in the 34th International Diplomatic Community Bazaar in New Delhi, organized by the Delhi Commonwealth Women's Associations (DCWA).
The official opening of the Diplomatic Bazaar took place with the participation of Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Askar Beshimov, invited as the Chief Guest.
Ambassador Askar Beshimov, together with the Organizing Committee of the event, visited the pavilions of the participating countries and Indian companies presenting various goods and products of their countries.
The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic presented handmade products made of silk, wool, traditional souvenirs, honey, dried fruits and bakery products to the visitors.
The Embassy's stand aroused great interest among local citizens and the diplomatic corps, where paintings with mountain landscapes were presented, dedicated to the initiative of the Kyrgyz Republic to declare December 11 the International Mountain Day.
The Embassy also contributed humper with domestic products and tourist brochures with information about Kyrgyzstan.
The main purpose of the event, which was attended by about 30 diplomatic missions, is to raise funds for charity. All proceeds from the sale of souvenirs and food will be used for the needs of children in Medical Centre Zamrudpur, New Delhi.
