Kyrgyz Emergencies Minister meets in Doha with Prime Minister of Qatar

Bishkek, March 27, 2018 / Kabar /. A bilateral meeting of Minister of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov with Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani is held in Doha, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

During the bilateral meeting, Boronov stressed the importance of further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Qatar, in particular in the field of preventing and eliminating emergencies, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and providing humanitarian assistance.

Speaking about the experience of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic in training Qatari specialists, Boronov proposed to continue joint efforts to train rescuers and provide technical assistance.

Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani stressing the active nature of the Kyrgyz-Qatar relations, stressed the interest in deepening bilateral cooperation on a wide range of issues, including in the field of civil protection and emergencies.

At the end of the bilateral meeting, Boronov conveyed greetings and wishes of well-being of Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov and on his behalf invited Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani to attend the opening ceremony of the Third World Nomad Games in September 2018.
