Kyrgyz farmers received 976 units of agricultural machinery since beginning of year

Bishkek, Sept. 30, 2024. /Kabar/. In 2024, farmers in Kyrgyzstan were issued a total of 976 units of various agricultural equipment for the amount of KGS 3.8 billion, the Ministry of Agriculture reported.

In order to provide state support to agricultural producers, 9 credit lines were initiated and implemented through Aiyl Bank and Eldik Bank.

Aiyl Bank OJSC is the executive operator of the mentioned projects. Under projects of the above banks all kinds of agricultural machinery and equipment, as well as sprinklers and drip irrigation equipment for irrigation of agricultural crops are sold to agricultural producers of the republic on favorable terms, for up to 10 years with an interest rate of 6% per annum.

Since the beginning of implementation of the listed projects on leasing of machinery, agricultural producers of the republic have been issued 6892 units of various agricultural machinery for the amount of KGS 17.6 billion, including for 2024 – a total of 976 units of various agricultural machinery for the amount of KGS 3.8 billion.

All agricultural entities of the republic can replenish their fleet with machinery at the expense of state support through credit and leasing lines of Aiyl Bank OJSC and Eldik Bank OJSC on favorable conditions.
