Bishkek, July 30, 2024 . / Kabar / . Work continues on creating conditions for increasing agricultural exports to China, the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan said.
Thus, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the Protocol on phytosanitary requirements for fresh fruits of stone fruit crops when exported from Kyrgyzstan to China.
Further, in order to implement the Protocol, a joint Kyrgyz-Chinese inspection of authorized bodies in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic where apricots are grown should be organized. Already soon apricot producers will have an opportunity to enter the Chinese market.
"With this in mind, we recommend apricot producers to start working on finding Chinese partners and working out futures contracts for the supply of apricots," the report said.
