Bishkek, June 4, 2021 . / Kabar / . Akyrky Koch (the Road to Eden) film of Kyrgyzstani directors Bakyt Mukul and Dastan Zhapar uulu has been included in the five nominees in the competition program of the Asia Film Art International Film Festival to be held in Hong Kong on June 24-27.
The press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Culture reported that films from Japan, Vietnam, China and India will also take part in the competition along with the work of the Kyrgyzstani directors.
The Asia Film Art International Film Festival (AFAIFF) is an international film festival that presents innovative directors and artists from around the world.
AFAIFF is hosted by the Hong Kong Film Art Association (HKFAA) and Macau Film Art Association (MFAA) and aims to inspire, motivate and reward new talent.
The Road to Eden tells the story of a prominent retired writer who lives alone. One day he finds out that his friend, the writer Sapar, is seriously ill.
