Tolomush Zhanybekov's film "What the Birds Sing About" won the Grand Prix at the International Film Festival for Young Filmmakers (7ème Lune), which took place in France from 13 to 16 April. A film about the life of two brothers in a small village.
Ibadylla Adjibaev's film "The Postman" was awarded the Audience Award at the 46th Grenzland-Filmtage International Film Festival, which was held in Germany from April 13 to 16. The film tells about the life of a postman in two border villages of the Batken region: in frost, rain, and heat, he overcomes kilometers of mountainous terrain on foot in order to deliver pensions and benefits to everyone on time.
