Kyrgyz films to be presented to Kazakh audiences in Almaty

Bishkek, Jan. 29, 2018 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz films will be presented to Kazakh audiences in Almaty, the press service of the Zamandash Association reported.

"Kyrgyz citizens living in Almaty in order to popularize the Kyrgyz film industry, to develop and strengthen friendly relations between the Kyrgyz and Kazakh peoples are going to show films of Kyrgyz filmmakers," the report said.

Film screening for representatives of Kyrgyz diaspora and residents of Almaty is organized by the Head of the Creative Association Aizirek Media, Ruslan Akmatov together with the representative of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Almaty, Daniyar Nazaraliev.

The Kyrgyz films are scheduled to be shown on Feb.21 at one of cinemas in Almaty. The audience will be able to watch such Kyrgyz films as Ayilkamp and Bajariki-2 from the creators of the films Birtuganchik and Bajariki.

Akmatov said that such events took place before and they will be held in future for further development and strengthening of relations between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

"We must be a bridge of friendship between the two fraternal peoples in the sphere of culture, education and business," he said.

The Kyrgyz diaspora in Almaty has organized such events several times before.
