Bishkek, Dec. 24, 2020 / Kabar /. Amending the Constitution is the internal affair of each state and the expression of the will of the people, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev told during a meeting of the Security Council.
He said that today political processes are taking place in the country aimed at establishing political stability, and the role of a fair approach to electoral issues is the basis.
“The people decide which Constitution is needed for the country. By holding a transparent referendum, the authorities create all the necessary conditions for the choice of the people. By making any changes to the Constitution, no one violates democratic principles. First of all, it is important that today the people are given full information about the proposed reforms. If we conduct everything transparently, the world community will perceive these processes at a high level,” Kazakbaev concluded.
