Bishkek, Jan. 16, 2019 / Kabar /. Within the framework of the visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov to the Kingdom of Norway, he met with Minister of Justice, Public Safety and Immigration of Norway Tor Mikel Vara.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that, during the meeting, the sides discussed the expansion of the legal framework between Kyrgyzstan and Norway in the field of security and migration. In particular, the draft agreements on the abolition of visas for holders of diplomatic passports and the Agreement on readmission between the Governments of the Kyrgyz Republic and Norway were considered.
The ministers noted the importance of organizing the signing of the mentioned bilateral documents, as well as building up interdepartmental cooperation in the field of migration and strengthening ties in ensuring public safety and improving the work of the internal affairs bodies.
