Bishkek, Nov. 22, 2018. /Kabar/. In the framework of the first official visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov to the Republic of Lithuania, a bilateral meeting was held with Speaker of the Seimas (Parliament) of Lithuania Viktoras Pranckietis.
The sides discussed a wide range of issues related to strengthening of bilateral relations in the field of inter-parliamentary cooperation, including the experience of Lithuania in building parliamentary democracy, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
It was noted that it is necessary to increase cooperation in the framework of the inter-parliamentary dialogue by creating a friendship group in the Lithuanian Parliament for cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
