Bishkek, Feb. 7, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov met with Ambassador of Turkmenistan Shadurdy Meredov, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of enhancing the Kyrgyz-Turkmen cooperation in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian dimensions.
The Kyrgyz Minister noted the significant unrealized economic potential of the two countries. In this regard, he proposed to study the needs and capabilities of the two countries in order to intensify joint efforts in these areas.
The sides reviewed the issues of bilateral visits, and also expressed the hope that this year the development of the Kyrgyz-Turkmen cooperation will be given additional impetus.
