Bishkek, April 13, 2023. / Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev arrived in Samarkand to participate in a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS under the chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, the parties will exchange views on issues of the international agenda and cooperation in the Commonwealth format, as well as consider draft decisions submitted to meetings of the Council of Heads of Government and the Council of Heads of State of the CIS.
The Kyrgyz foreign minister plans to take part in the Sixth Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the countries of Central Asia and Russia, which will be held after the meeting of the CIS Ministerial Council.
The agenda of the meeting includes issues of discussing the state and prospects within this format and other topical international issues, including ensuring regional security, comprehensive development of trade and economic cooperation, industrial cooperation, etc.
As part of Kulubaev's working visit to Uzbekistan, a number of bilateral meetings are planned.
