Bishkek, Jan. 21, 2019. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov met and held talks with State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of the Interior, member of the Bundestag Stephan Mayer in Berlin, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Aidarbekov informed the interlocutor about the current domestic political situation and the socio-economic situation in Kyrgyzstan, as well as the ongoing reforms in the country in various fields. He expressed satisfaction with the development of the Kyrgyz-German relations and noted the willingness of Kyrgyzstan to further expand cooperation with Germany.
In turn, Mayer stressed the successful implementation of democratic processes in Kyrgyzstan and wished further success on this path. The sides discussed the issues of the Germans living in Kyrgyzstan and the upcoming meeting of the relevant commission. The meeting took place at the German Foreign Office in Berlin on January 18.
