Kyrgyz FM discusses cooperation issues with deputy PM, minister of Presidential Affairs of UAE

Bishkek, March 3, 2022. / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev, within the framework of his official visit to the United Arab Emirates, met in Abu Dhabi with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs of the UAE Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said that at the meeting the sides discussed topical issues of cooperation on the agenda of bilateral relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the UAE and prospects for further cooperation in trade, investment and other areas of mutual interest. In particular, the sides exchanged views on the organization of mutual exchanges at the highest level - the visit of President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov to the UAE, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the Kyrgyz Republic. The sides also exchanged views on the possibility of establishing the Kyrgyz-Emirates Investment Fund. In particular, issues of possible implementation of investment projects in the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of agriculture and processing industry were discussed.

During the conversation, the sides discussed topical issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the UAE, as well as the current development of the international situation in the world, including events in Ukraine.

The sides agreed to maintain close working contacts to address issues of expanding and deepening mutually beneficial cooperation, which are of mutual interest.
