Kyrgyz FM holds talks in Brussels with members of the European Parliament

Bishkek, March 8 / Kabar /. In Brussels, within the framework of the 15th meeting of the Cooperation Council of the Kyrgyzstan and European Union, Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Erlan Abdyldaev met with members of the Delegation of the EU-Central Asia inter-parliamentary cooperation committees headed by Iveta Grigule.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reports that during the meeting the sides continued the dialogue started during the visit of the delegation of European MPs headed by Grigule to Bishkek to participate in the 12th meeting of the Committee on Parliamentary Cooperation of the KR-EU on 20-23 February this year, Bishkek.

The sides exchanged views on the results of the meeting of the Council for Cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the EU, on the progress of democratic reforms in the Kyrgyz Republic, the upcoming presidential elections on November 19 this year, on positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and European Union in the political sphere, as well as changes in trade and economic relations using the GSP + status.
