Bishkek, Dec. 24, 2021 . / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev held a meeting in the format of a video conference with heads of embassies of Kyrgyzstan, permanent missions of the republic to international organizations and consulates general.
At the meeting, Kazakbaev summarized the activities of the diplomatic service bodies of Kyrgyzstan in 2021, noting the ministry's contribution to bringing the country out of the period of transitional political processes and completing the period of work in anti-crisis mode.
Ruslan Kazakbaev stressed that in 2021 the Foreign Ministry continued to work on the implementation of another Plans of Anti-Crisis Measures and Actions, approved by Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov.
The launch of development funds with Hungary, the UAE, Uzbekistan, as well as agreements on their establishment with Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey were significant results of the work of the diplomatic service agencies.
In conclusion, the minister outlined the main directions of the ministry's work for 2022, among which the promotion of economic development is identified as the main one.
According to the National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2026, adopted by the president in October of this year, the activities of diplomatic institutions should be focused on solving the problems of economic diplomacy.
