Kyrgyz FM Kazakbayev meets with TurkPA Secretary General Mamayusupov

Bishkek, Nov. 28, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbayev met with Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries (TurkPA) Altynbek Mamayusupov.

During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of cooperation within TurkPA, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.

Also, the mutual intention to further develop relations of friendship and brotherhood between Turkic speaking countries, including in the parliamentary dimension was expressed.

Mamayusupov informed Kazakbayev about current international activity of TurkPA in the conditions of COVID-19 pandemic.

Ruslan Kazakbayev noted that TurkPA, since its establishment in 2008, has achieved good results in strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between parliaments of Turkic speaking states.

The minister also invited the International TurkPA Observation Mission to take part in monitoring the early presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan to be held on Jan.10, 2021.
