Bishkek, Dec. 19, 2024 . / Kabar / . Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev held a meeting with 30 delegates of the 3rd People's Kurultai.
Kurultai represents diaspora organizations and associations of compatriots from the Russian Federation, the United States, Canada, Turkey, Germany, Korea, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, Italy and the United Kingdom.
During the meeting, the minister informed the participants in detail about the current activities of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry aimed at fulfilling the tasks set by Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov in the field of protecting the rights and interests of Kyrgyzstanis living abroad.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of ensuring the legal rights of compatriots in both near and far abroad. The participants of the meeting, representing their diasporas, outlined urgent problems faced by Kyrgyzstani citizens abroad.
Jeenbek Kulubaev emphasized that the proposals and problems voiced by the delegates will be in the center of attention, and the Ministry will continue to strengthen ties with diasporas and protect the rights and interests of Kyrgyz citizens abroad.
He also expressed confidence that the proposals of the delegates will make a significant contribution to the further development of Kyrgyzstan.
