Kyrgyz FM meets in Moscow with chairman of Board of Directors of Zarubezh-EXPO JSC

Bishkek, March 6, 2022 / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev met in Moscow with Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zarubezh-EXPO JSC David Vartanov as part of his official visit to the Russian Federation.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said that the issues of holding the First International Industrial Exhibition EXPO-RUSSIA-KYRGYZSTAN-2022 and the Russian-Kyrgyz Interregional Business Forum in Bishkek on June 15-17, 2022 were discussed at the meeting. Ruslan Kazakbaev noted that the leadership of the Kyrgyz Republic attaches great importance to the quality preparation and holding of these events.

Kazakbaev outlined the priorities of the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan to promote economic diplomacy, attract investment and increase the country's export potential. The importance of regularly holding such economic and exhibition events for the development of Kyrgyz-Russian trade and economic cooperation, expanding the range of trade and increasing trade turnover, strengthening business ties between economic entities of the two states, including at the interregional level, was especially emphasized.

In turn, Vartanov expressed satisfaction with the effective interaction with the Kyrgyz side, informed about the planned visit to Bishkek in the near future of the delegation of Zarubezh-EXPO JSC to resolve a number of organizational and substantive issues, as well as sign the relevant contractual documents.

The interlocutors agreed that the potential for trade and economic cooperation, given the allied and strategic nature of bilateral relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation, would make it possible to hold the upcoming industrial exhibition and interregional business forum at a high level with the involvement of a wide range of Kyrgyz and Russian businessmen and investors.

Zarubezh-EXPO JSC is the organizer and operator of Russian events abroad aimed at stimulating bilateral trade.
