Kyrgyz FM meets in Tashkent with his Uzbek counterpart

Bishkek, April 7 / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Erlan Abdyldaev met today in Tashkent with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

During the meeting, the sides emphasized the positive dynamics along the whole spectrum of bilateral relations and expressed interest in the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation in political, trade-economic, energy, transport-communication, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres, including issues of interregional cooperation and security.

The ministers stressed that the results of the meeting of the heads of two states in Samarkand on December 24, 2016, showed the desire and determination of the sides to seek solutions to existing issues. The sides also discussed border delimitation, the state of the legal framework and further strengthening of confidence-building measures between the two states.
