Kyrgyz FM meets with ambassador of Azerbaijan

Bishkek, Oct. 16, 2020 / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Doyen of the diplomatic corps - Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kyrgyz Republic Gidayat Orudzhev.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported that during the meeting, the ambassador conveyed congratulations of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov on the occasion of the appointment of Ruslan Kazakbaev as the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.

For his part, Kazakbaev thanked the head of the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission for his congratulations on the appointment and expressed his desire to continue to maintain a positive vector of development of bilateral relations with Azerbaijan, as well as to make every effort to further strengthen them. In addition, the Kyrgyz minister briefed about the current situation in the country, as well as the return of the internal political situation to the legal channel.

During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of the bilateral agenda, including the issues of enhancing the political dialogue, as well as the implementation of specific projects in the socio-economic sphere. In particular, the sides noted the importance of resuming work on the completion of the construction of the Kyrgyzstan-Azerbaijan Friendship Park and the Aliyev Secondary School in Bishkek, which, in turn, will serve to further expand bilateral cooperation and become a symbol of friendship and brotherhood of the countries.

Kazakbaev invited the minister of foreign affairs of Azerbaijan to pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan.
