Kyrgyz FM meets with deputy secretary general for bilateral relations of Malaysian MFA

Bishkek, Feb. 8, 2024. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev met with Deputy Secretary General for Bilateral Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Dato' Ahmad Rozian bin Abd. Ghani

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the meeting took place today as part of the Kyrgyz-Malaysian inter-Ministerial consultations.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of strengthening political dialogue, intensifying trade and economic cooperation and cultural and humanitarian interaction between the two countries, as well as the upcoming holding of a number of visits at the highest and high levels.

Jeenbek Kulubaev emphasized that relations between Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia are based on many years of friendship and mutual respect and outlined the readiness of the Kyrgyz side for joint active cooperation in a bilateral format, as well as for interaction within international organizations.

Dato' Ahmad Rozian bin Abd. Ghani, for his part, expressed the Malaysian side’s readiness to intensify bilateral cooperation in all areas, and also focused on the prospects for mutual cooperation in the field of education.
