Bishkek, Oct. 24, 2023 . / Kabar / . Luxembourg hosted on Monday a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev and European Commissioner for International Partnership Jutta Urpilainen.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said that the meeting took place on the margins of the EU-CA Foreign Ministers' Meeting.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the European Union projects implemented in Kyrgyzstan and exchanged views on possible expansion of cooperation in such areas as digitalization, education, ecology and "green" economy.
Special attention was paid to the issue of external debt swap for the implementation of projects in the field of "green economy".
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed readiness to expand further fruitful cooperation.
Kulubaev invited the interlocutor to visit Kyrgyzstan in order to further deepen cooperation and discuss new ways and opportunities for project and program cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the EU.
