Bishkek, Nov. 2, 2024. / Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev and Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev met in Bishkek on Saturday.
According to the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, during the meeting, the secretary general briefed the minister about the progress of the current preparations for the upcoming meetings of the Council of Heads of State and the Council of Foreign Ministers, which will be held on November 6 this year in Bishkek.
The secretary general also informed about the progress of the development of draft documents planned for signing and adoption at the above-mentioned events and other issues of an organizational and substantive nature.
In turn, Kulubaev noted the importance of high-quality preparation of the substantive part of the upcoming events and the need for the earliest possible approval of draft documents between the member states of the OTS.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic in the OTS for the upcoming period and discussed the plan of activities within the framework of the chairmanship. At the end of the meeting, mutual readiness was expressed for further joint work to implement the tasks set within the Organization.
