Bishkek, Feb. 21, 2019. /Kabar/. Within the framework of the official visit to China, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov met Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China Zhong Shan on Wednesday.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that during the meeting, the sides discussed issues of the Kyrgyz-Chinese cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, attracting investment in the Kyrgyz economy, promoting the export of Kyrgyz products to China, cooperation within the framework of the Chinese One Belt, One Road Initiative, promoting bilateral projects and other topics of mutual interest.
Special attention was paid to the preparation for the upcoming SCO Summit in Bishkek, the meetings of the Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) on Trade and Economic Cooperation and the Kyrgyzstan- XUAR Coordination Group under the IGC.
The Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China noted the readiness to further strengthen relations of good-neighborliness, friendship, cooperation and a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Kyrgyzstan.
