Bishkek, Feb. 22, 2019. /Kabar/. As part of the official visit, on February 21, 2019, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister held a meeting with Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People’s Congress of China (NPC) Zhang Yesui.
During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of the Kyrgyz-Chinese cooperation and prospects for cooperation in areas of mutual interest, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Particular attention was paid to the practical implementation of existing agreements to further deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership reached during the state visit of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbekov to China in June 2018.
In addition, the need to further strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation and organization of reciprocal visits of parliamentary delegations this year was noted.
