Kyrgyz FM receives ambassador of Turkmenistan on due to completion of his diplomatic mission

Bishkek, Aug. 2, 2023 / Kabar /. On August 1, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev received the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Shadurdy Meredov on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

During the meeting, the sides noted the positive dynamics in the development of bilateral relations in the political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and energy spheres.

An exchange of views also took place on topical and promising issues of Kyrgyz-Turkmen cooperation.

Meredov, in turn, expressed gratitude to the Kyrgyz side for the support provided during his tenure as head of the diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan in the Kyrgyz Republic.

At the end of the meeting, the minister thanked the ambassador for the work done and personal contribution to the development of bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.
