Bishkek, Feb. 1, 2020 / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov received Chinese Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republi, Du Dewen, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.
In connection with the outbreak of coronavirus infection in China, Aidarbekov expressed sincere sympathy and support to the Chinese people. At the same time, he fully supported the measures undertaken by the Chinese side, and also praised the efforts of the Chinese Government to combat the epidemic of pneumonia caused by a new type of coronavirus.
At the same time, Minister Aidarbekov expressed gratitude to the Chinese side for their prompt assistance in resolving emerging issues regarding citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic temporarily or permanently located in the territory of the People’s Republic of China.
The sides also discussed certain issues of bilateral cooperation related to the implementation of specific agreements reached by the leaders of the two countries in the framework of the state visit of President Xi Jinping to the Kyrgyz Republic in June 2019.
