Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2023. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev received copies of credentials from the new Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kyrgyz Republic Ali Jabir Muhammad Al-Ghufran Al-Marri.
The minister noted the great political significance of the first state visit of the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to Kyrgyzstan on June 6-7, 2023, which became historic not only in Kyrgyz-Qatari relations, but also in the relations of Kyrgyzstan with all Arab countries. In this regard, Kulubaev pointed out the importance of the consistent implementation of all agreements reached at the highest level.
The parties emphasized their readiness to increase mutually beneficial cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as jointly promote bilateral investment and social projects in Kyrgyzstan.
In order to further strengthen the political dialogue, the parties agreed to continue the high dynamics of mutual visits, holding various bilateral events through line ministries, as well as inter-MFA political consultations.
At the end of the meeting, Kulubaev congratulated the new ambassador of Qatar on the start of the diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan and wished him every success in this post for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
