Bishkek, Dec.9, 2024. /Kabar/. Bishkek hosted on Monday a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev and European Union Special Representative for Central Asia Terhi Hakala on the occasion of the completion of her mission.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the European Union, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
Minister Kulubaev paid special attention to further expansion of cooperation with the EU in trade and investment, energy, transport, logistics and educational programs.
In turn, Terhi Hakala noted that in recent years Kyrgyzstan and the European Union have significantly intensified their activities in all areas, several high-level events were held, including the meeting of leaders of Central Asia and the European Union, held in June 2023 in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul.
“She emphasized that the achieved results were possible due to the presence of political will of the leadership of Kyrgyzstan and the European Union,” the report said.
