Bishkek, July 14, 2022 . /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev met with Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Kyrgyzstan Olivier Bangerter, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation of Kyrgyzstan and Switzerland. As part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations this year, Kulubaev praised the level of bilateral relations between the countries.
In order to further intensify bilateral cooperation, the Kyrgyz minister suggested holding Kyrgyz-Swiss consultations in Bishkek in the near future, as well as to consider the possibility of high and the highest level visits.
Special attention was paid to issues of trade and economic cooperation, including by attracting investment in the country's economy, exchange of experience in the technological sphere, as well as the creation of joint ventures and new jobs. The importance of further implementation of specific joint projects in agriculture and tourism was noted.
During the meeting, the sides focused on regional security and cooperation within international organizations.
