Kyrgyz FM takes part in opening of Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue Conference 2022

Bishkek, March 30, 2022 . / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev took part in the opening of the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue International Conference in Berlin.

The foreign minister of Kyrgyzstan attended the conference at the invitation of Vice Chancellor, Federal Minister for Economy Affairs and Climate Action of Germany Robert Habeck and Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Annalena Berbock, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.

UN Secretary General António Guterres delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.

Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue is a major international conference organized by the German Federal Government to jointly address global and local issues of the energy transition to green technologies and renewable energy sources, climate and the environment.

The annual Conference is attended by over 500 representatives from more than 50 countries, including heads of foreign policy, energy and environmental agencies, as well as subject matter experts and scientists.

Kazakbayev is expected to made a speech as a panelist at Industry and Lifecycle session.
