Bishkek, Aug. 18, 2022 / Kabar /. As part of an official visit to Turkiye, on Aug.17, 2022, Minister of Foreign Affairs ofKyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev visited the monument to Manas the Magnanimous, erected on the main square of the Kechioren municipality in Ankara, where he met with Mayor Turgut Altynok.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported that Mayor Altynok conducted a brief tour of the square, informed about the history and chronology of the erection of the monument, as well as ongoing projects affecting common Turkic cultural values. In addition, certain issues of strengthening cooperation between the regions of Kyrgyzstan and Turkiye, the opportunities and potential of the Kecioren municipality in this direction were discussed.
Kulubaev expressed gratitude to the mayor for all-round assistance in expanding Kyrgyz-Turkish relations and perpetuating the memory of Kyrgyz history and culture in the capital's municipality.
