Kyrgyz foreign minister meets with compatriots in Turkey

Bishkek, May 7, 2019. / Kabar /. As part of his official visit to Turkey, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov met with compatriots living in Ankara, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.

During the meeting, Aidarbekov told about the work being carried out by the Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan aimed at protecting the rights of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad, as well as about the priority directions of development of the country and state reforms.

Particular attention is paid to issues arising from the instructions of the Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov following his meeting with the activists of the Kyrgyz diaspora during his visit to the Republic of Turkey on Apr. 10, 2018.

The minister informed the participants about a number of fundamentally important agreements expected during his upcoming talks with the foreign minister of Turkey and paid attention to the need for close cooperation of the Kyrgyz overseas office in Turkey with diaspora centers of compatriots in conducting joint cultural and humanistic events in Turkish cities.

Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev also attended the meeting.
