Bishkek, April 3, 2023. / Kabar/. The first meeting of the consular club was held in Bishkek with the participation of Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Almaz Bukalaev and foreign consuls accredited in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the press service of the Consular Department, the meeting took place on March 31. Foreign consuls were presented with a presentation on the topic “Visa Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic”, familiarized with the main cultural and informal events that are planned to be held this year within the framework of the consular club.
For their part, the diplomatic corps was enthusiastic about the news about the creation of the club, noting the timeliness of the formation of such a platform to maintain constant communication and exchange of views.
At the next meeting, on April 24, the parties plan to plant trees as part of the national campaign "Jashyl Muras" and a football match between the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and foreign consuls. The match is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the adoption of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations.
The main idea of creating the consular club was the desire of the Kyrgyz side to acquaint the foreign diplomatic corps with the cultural life of Kyrgyzstan, exchange views on topical issues of the consular direction, strengthen interaction between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the diplomatic corps.
