Bishkek, Jan.31, 2020. /Kabar/. Currently, Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy in China are working on various options for exporting citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic located in China, in particular in Wuhan city, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported Friday.
In connection with the outbreak of 2019-nCoV coronavirus in China, the Embassy and consulates of the Kyrgyz Republic in China on a permanent and round-the-clock basis are receiving telephone calls and appeals from Kyrgyz citizens, located in China, as well as their relatives to provide the necessary information and advice, and to provide possible practical assistance.
"In this regard, we call on our citizens in China to provide their addresses, contact details and other relevant information to Kyrgyz foreign institutions in China,” the Foreign Ministry’s press service said.
Kyrgyz students in China created various groups in WeChat social network, each of which is registered from 200 to 500 participants, including employees of foreign institutions of Kyrgyzstan in China.
"At present, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kyrgyz Embassy in China are working on various options for exporting citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who are in China, in particular in Wuhan,” the report says.
At the same time, the Foreign Ministry recalls the recommendations to refrain from traveling to China until the epidemiological situation associated with the outbreak of 2019-nCoV coronavirus in China is stabilized.
Kyrgyzstanis, currently residing in China are recommended as one of the main preventive measures, not to visit places of mass congestion and strictly follow the recommendations of local authorities and medical institutions.
