Bishkek, March 22 / Kabar /. Political consultations were held in Berlin between the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry and the German Foreign Ministry with the participation of the Kyrgyz delegation led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Emil Kaikiyev.
During the consultations the German delegation was headed by Commissioner for Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia, German Foreign Minister Andreas Peschke.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that, during the consultations the sides discussed wide range of issues of Kyrgyz-German cooperation and expressed satisfaction with successful development of bilateral relations. The heads of delegations agreed on further expansion of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany, especially in economic sphere. Besides, a constructive exchange of views on regional and international issues took place.
This time Kyrgyz-German ministerial consultations were held in the year of the 25th anniversary of the Kyrgyz-German relations. Following the meeting, the sides agreed to continue the work of Kyrgyz-German ministerial consultations that contribute to further development of comprehensive cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany.
