Kyrgyz government approves program for development of local self-government for 2018-2023

Bishkek, Nov. 3, 2018 / Kabar /. The government approved the Program of development of local self-government of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2018-2023.

The program was developed to further implement reforms in the local government system aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens, the press service of the State Agency for Local Self-governments and Interethnic Relations of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The program is aimed at enhancing the role of local governments, local communities and citizens.

The goal of the program: by the end of 2023 is the responsible local communities and secured, stable local governments, which by interacting with each other with government bodies will ensure an improvement in the quality of life of citizens.
