Bishkek, March 28, 2020 / Kabar /. The Kyrgyz side appealed the Chinese side with a request to render humanitarian assistance, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
In the context of the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, the Kyrgyz government appealed to the Chinese government to provide humanitarian assistance to the Kyrgyz side in the form of test systems and reagents, appropriate medical equipment, personal protective equipment for medical personnel, and also sanitation facilities.
A request was also made to send medical experts to exchange experience in the fight against coronovirus infection.
“The Kyrgyz government, appreciating the contribution and efforts of the government of the People’s Republic of China to combat the COVID-19 coronavirus in the world, expresses appreciation for the support and assistance provided during this difficult time,” the report said.
