Kyrgyz government coordinates work of volunteers – Vice PM Ismailova

Bishkek, July 10, 2020 /Kabar/. The government of Kyrgyzstan is coordinating the volunteer movement in the republic in the context of the coronavirus infection pandemic, Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Aida Ismailova said.

She recalled that the Birge headquarters and the birge.pro platform, a task scheduler, were created for these purposes.

“The society is mobilized, and many volunteers united in different movements and groups. And the birge.pro resource was created to coordinate requests and help. It works with medical facilities. Volunteers coordinate requests,” said the vice prime minister.

Ismailova added that Goskomsvyaz (State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications) has also developed a resource to reflect the current situation in the health care system for bed funds, equipment and other means necessary in the process of combating COVID-19.

“Thus, we have several sources of data in different directions, which together reflect the real situation and the required measures,” she added.
