Kyrgyz government resigns

Bishkek, Jan. 21, 2021 / Kabar /. The newly elected President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov stepped down from office of prime minister, Chief of Staff of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Suyunbek Kasmambetov told reporters today.

He said that when the official results of the early presidential elections were announced, Sadyr Zhaparov stepped down from office of prime minister of the Kyrgyz Republic and the current government resigned.

"By the same document, the current members of the government are assigned the duties to fulfill their duties until the election of a new government," said the head of the president’s office.
