Bishkek, Mar.17, 2020. /Kabar/. Medical masks are exempted from value added tax (VAT) when supplied and imported into Kyrgyzstan. The relevant decision was signed by Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev.
According to the Government's press service, the decision was made to provide the population with medical devices.
In order to achieve the task, the relevant amendments were made to the Resolution of the Kyrgyz Government "On Approval of the List of Medicines Exempted From Payment of the VAT by Supply and Import into the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic".
Earlier, the World Health Organization declared a coronavirus pandemic in the world.
The main WHO recommendations for the population, in connection with the spread of the new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) is, among other things, the mandatory wearing of medical masks.
