Bishkek, Oct. 20, 2017 /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz government sent Parliament a draft law on denunciation of the agreement on rendering technical aid by Kazakhstan amounting of $ 100 million, Deputy Prime Minister Duishenbek Zilaliev told Kabar Agency.
"The denunciation of a previously signed agreement means that we reject $ 100 million."
Speaking about the reason of such decision, Zilaliev said that "firstly, they don’t give us for a long time, we expected to receive them earlier."
He said that today the construction of most of 14 veterinary laboratories, that meet the requirements of the EEU, have been completed.
Economist Iskender Sharsheyev, commenting on the situation said that Kazakhstan did not transfer Kyrgyzstan the promised $ 100 million to support accession to the Eurasian Economic Union.
He said that experts of Kazakhstan, stated in the media that this money has already been transferred to Kyrgyzstan. "They apparently have unverified information. Since the money is not received," said Sharsheyev.
The agreement and protocols on rendering by Kazakhstan an assistance to Kyrgyzstan in the amount of $ 100 million for the implementation of the roadmap for accession of the Republic to the EEU was signed on 26 December 2016 in St. Petersburg. The money was planned to be transfered in stages, and the amount of the first tranche amounted to $ 41 million.
