Bishkek, April 12, 2021. / Kabar /. A temporary ban has been introduced for a period of six months on the export of medicines and medical devices from Kyrgyzstan. The corresponding decision was signed by Prime Minister Ulukbek Maripov, the press service of the Kyrgyz government reported.
This ban was introduced as part of the approved Plan of Priority Measures of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic for 100 days.
The purpose of this decree is to protect the life and health of the population of the Kyrgyz Republic, to prevent a critical shortage of medicines and medical products to prevent a difficult epidemiological situation in the country.
According to the document, the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic has to notify the Committee for Protective Measures of the World Trade Organization and the Eurasian Economic Commission about the introduction of a temporary ban.
