Bishkek, Apr. 12, 2020. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz Government is developing a second package of anti-crisis measures considering which sectors will start operating first, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Erkin Asrandiyev said at a briefing.
He said the second package of measures, aimed at supporting business and gradual economic recovery is being developed.
"As part of the second phase of measures taken, it is envisaged to develop a phased resumption of economic activity. We take into consideration the practice and experience of other countries.
We must understand that a return to normal life must include new conditions, safety, hygiene and sanitation requirements. The plan will stipulate which activities we should resume first, in what order and under what rules," he said.
The second direction is financial support for business.
Asrandiyev added the analysis of the economy is currently underway. Those sectors of the economy that have suffered the most damage and now are ready to be resumed, should be identified primarily.
The deputy PM noted there is need to focus on small enterprises that are engaged in retail business.
The analysis of activities is also being done for large enterprises.
